The energy still required to reach the required catalyst inlet temperature, is supplied by a gas burner or an electric heating coil.<\/p><p>Following the heating device, the reagent is injected. The reagent is deposited in the catalyst and reacts with the NO and NO2 pollutants in the process gas and converts them.<\/p><p>After the process gas has left the catalytic converter, it flows through the heat exchanger, where it transfers some of its energy to the cold process gas to be preheated.
